Can I replace my old skylight with a Vitria flat roof window?
Absolutely. The Vitria is designed as the smartest upgrade for your roof, without major demolition work. Thanks to the Skylux adapter frame, we install a brand-new glass flat roof window directly over your existing curb.
Whether you choose a fixed version or an openable window for extra ventilation, your roof covering remains 100% intact and installation is faster than ever.
Will rainwater or dirt remain on the flat glass?
No. The advanced flush design of the Vitria ensures that the glass surface flows seamlessly over the frame. This prevents water from stagnating. Combined with the standard pitch of your flat roof, rain and dirt naturally slide off the window.
For guaranteed optimal drainage, we recommend a minimum installation pitch of 5 degrees.
Does the Vitria insulate well against cold, summer heat and the sound of rain?
Exceptionally well. The Vitria comes standard with HR++ double glazing (U-value 1.1). The heavy safety glass also reduces the tapping sound of rain or hail to an absolute minimum.
Can I operate the Vitria flat roof window manually or electrically?
You have complete freedom. For rooms where you want to ventilate from time to time, the manual version with a simple spindle and winding rod is ideal.
Would you like more comfort? Then choose the electric version (230V). It lets you open your roof window with a single press of the switch. While the Vitria focuses on functional simplicity, it offers every modern convenience for natural ventilation and fresh air.
Do I need to order accessories such as sunblinds or screens right away?
That is entirely up to you. Do you choose an openable Vitria including an insect screen or blackout blind? Then we deliver it as one fully pre-assembled system from our factory. This is our 'Plug & Play' guarantee: plug it in and it's ready.
Have you already installed a fixed Vitria, or would you prefer to decide later? Our interior screens are designed so they can also be added easily and seamlessly at a later stage.
