Skylights for heated spaces

Which skylight should I choose? You still come across that question often on internet forums. People openly wonder whether a double-walled skylight is sufficient for their construction project. At Skylux, we do not have to think twice about it. We strongly advocate better insulation. If the available budget allows for a 4-walled skylight or a 5-walled skylight, then that is perfect.

The more walls, the better your score

For recent building permits, the 4-walled (Ut = 1.28 W/m²K), 5-walled (Ut = 0.99 W/m²K) plastic skylights comply. The iWindow2 glass flat roof windows, iWindow3 and iDome naturally perform even better.

First choose the desired skylight. Once you have found the right skylight, you can then add the desired curb on the product page for a fixed or openable version if desired.
