Skylux PVC frames are specially designed for openable skylights. Installed between the curb (upstand) and the skylight, they are a crucial element for ventilating skylight constructions. 1. Simple preparation
Start with a smooth preparation. Make sure the curb is clean and free of obstacles. Our PVC windows are designed to fit seamlessly, which minimizes preparation time and makes installation easier.
2. Seamless installation
Thanks to the pre-assembled top hinges, installation is a breeze. Place the PVC frame between the curb and the skylight, attach the hinges and you are halfway there.
3. Finish & ventilation
Finish the installation by connecting the opening system. Using a spindle, you can now easily open your skylight and enjoy the fresh air flowing through your new ventilating skylight.
Our frames are made of robust PVC and have three insulating layers that prevent condensation. Thanks to their solid thickness of 3 mm, they guarantee durability. We have applied a flexible PVC seal all around the frame, which ensures a windproof seal. We have also used high-quality stainless steel hinges, the lower part of which is firmly attached to the skylight curb. And to make installation as easy as possible, we offer a quick-assembly system: a pre-assembled combination of curb, frame and skylight dome, carefully prepared in our own workshops.
